As stated in the title, I tend to struggle with poached eggs. I struggle with all eggs honestly, and I thought that poaching an egg would be the method to master; it's healthy, no frying, and you basically dunk an egg in hot water right? No. Wrong. As evidenced by the photo, I continue to be an egg padowan. Instead of plump, round, perfectly poached eggs, I get white wispy witch eggs. My next attempt resulted in a watery, black, burned egg. I didn't know it was even possible to burn an egg in water so I apparently cleared that up. Still ate em though. I shall follow these sad eggs up with my next attempt, when I brush my ego off and decide to give it another go. For now, tofu sounds good to me.

Intro
Very recently I made the decision to be healthier by working out and making better food choices. I don't know what exactly to blame that decision on, the new year? Instagram? A drunken night?
Either way, off I went, on fire and ready to change my life for the better, "I'm going to shop at Farmer's Markets!". "This is leafy and green, I must buy it!". "Let's follow this girl on IG, she has a six-pack!".
I shopped, added a new Pinterest board, and followed dozens of health-minded individuals and organizations on IG. But once I was done and the dust settled I realized one thing:
I don't know how to cook.
Will that stop me? No.
Does it slow me down? On occassion.
Do I care? Not really.
So onward I go, steaming, roasting, baking and blending. However, I was recently informed that almost all of my culinary endeavors thus far have been ...lacking. Specifically in the beauty department. Therefore, I begin this blog, to help keep me accountable and to capture my journey to a better more wholesome self. There may be some workout/pitbull/extracurricularly tinged content that slip in but the main focus of this blog is to push me to keep cooking, and hopefully start producing more attractive products! And maybe to pressure me to buy real dinnerware. And a funnel.
Thanks for coming along for the ride! Hopefully you can glean some insight through my discoveries, blunders and Pintesting!
